Paul writes to the Corinthians because they were acting proud and trying to show off how wise and important they were. But Paul reminds them that real wisdom isn’t about sounding smart or being better than others. We can’t figure this out on our own. Only God’s Spirit can help us understand. If you believe in Jesus, it’s not because you’re clever—it’s because God showed it to you by grace. |
